Sprinter overhaul with its side awning extended outside the New Life workshop

Built around your rig

Exterior Installation

Windows, fans, racks, awnings and the details outside your van. See previous New Life projects and plan the right fit for yours.

Exterior Installation

Make the outside work with the inside.

A roof rack shares space with solar and ventilation. A window meets the interior trim. A flare changes the sleeping area. We look at the whole layout before adding equipment to your rig.

Bring us a single installation or a coordinated set of upgrades. We review the product, mounting location, access and any electrical or plumbing work together.

What we can help with

Exterior services, from roof to rear doors.

Choose a service below, then send your vehicle and product details. The exact installation is confirmed for your rig.

Window installation

New openings and replacements, with the window model, location, existing opening and interior finish reviewed together.

Roof vent fans

Fan location, roof obstructions, ceiling depth, trim and power supply all form part of the plan.

Roof racks & awnings

Coordinate rack mounts, awning brackets, roof equipment and door clearance. Let us know what the rack needs to carry and whether the awning is powered.

Flares

Review one or both sides, window options, paint or finish, interior trim and the sleeping layout before installation.

Exterior lighting & light bars

Choose the light locations and how you want to control them. We review mounting, cable routes and the supporting electrical work.

Running boards

Review vehicle-specific fitment, entry height, mounting points and any wiring for powered steps.

Exterior outlets & showers

Add access to power or water outside the van. Outlet type, shower location and existing systems determine the connections required.

Backup alarms & cameras

Plan coverage, equipment location, display and wiring around the vehicle’s existing features and rear accessories.

Signal boosters

Review the equipment, antenna placement, cable entry and power needs alongside the rest of the roof layout.

Spare tire mounts

Confirm the carrier, wheel and tire size, hinges and rear-door accessories. See our dedicated guide for the details.

Good to know

Common questions.

Can you fit parts I already bought?

Send the product link or part number and photos of all included brackets and hardware. The shop will review fitment and the installation scope for your vehicle.

Can you install several accessories together?

Yes. Planning windows, roof equipment, awnings and other accessories together helps identify clearance and access needs before the work starts.

My existing window or roof accessory leaks. Which service do I need?

Start with leak detection and repair. Tell us where and when water appears and what has already been attempted; replacing an accessory is not always the first step.

Can you quote from these photos?

The gallery shows previous projects, not a standard package or fixed price. Your vehicle, chosen products, existing equipment and access determine the quote.

What would make your van work better?

Send the upgrade list, vehicle details and any products you have picked out.
